What happens when the 2G network is switched off

It is correct that the 2G network has an expiry date. However, millions of devices are connected to this network and transmit, for example, sensor data from industrial machines via this mobile phone standard. Therefore, this network cannot simply be switched off. In the majority of European countries this will only be phased in after 2025, according to information from mobile network operators close to us. Of course, we will be able to develop the latest technologies and deliver these versions as soon as the supply is guaranteed.
